my S5 gets hot and the cool down message comes up alot, should I return it or is there a fix

Not sure what to do, it is always when it is charging

If this is a new phone, yes, I would return it. If it is still under warranty, I would get it exchanged or send it to Samsung to repair.

I have never had a message like this. Even my Note 3 had a motherboard issue and it got really hot and the motherboard had to be replaced. I never had a message pop up about it and it sometimes got up to about 125 degrees.
