I have a galaxy s6 from Sprint. And it likes to ruin the plugs. With new ones it goes in fine and charges fine. After some use it starts to come out easily. and most are to the point where it wont charge anymore. Been mostly wireless charging because of this.

6 months ago i got 6 OEM Samsung cables from amazon. and i am down to 2 working ones. Any ideas what is causing this?

on my cousins note 4 he can have it plugged in and can hang the phone from the cord and it stays in. Even with new cords i cant do that.

How do you typically remove the cable from the phone? Do you pull it straight off, or do you habitually torque or bend it a little?

I wonder if there's something faulty about the phone's port. Maybe there's a bent bracket or something that starts to affect the plug after a while. Bring it to your local Sprint store or Best Buy Samsung Experience store and see if they think the port is messed up.
