My S6 won't space after punctuation

I recently had an update on my Samsung S6 and as soon as i was able to use my phone, i started typing a message and after i type the period to the end of my sentence it will not automatically space like it always did before. It's just annoying and wondering if anyone had this problem and is there anyway to fix it. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the stock Samsung keyboard, or a 3rd party one? Did you notice this when using a messaging app, or were you typing in a browser webpage?

Yes i use the stock Samsung keyboard. After the update, it doesn't matter where i type. Whether it's in Google or messaging or texting, it no longer spaces after my sentence ending punctuation.

And you've already checked the Samsung Keyboard's settings (in Settings>Language & Input)?

Yes. As far as i can see, the settings are correct. I never changed anything.

Might be a bug in the latest keyboard update. You could try a different keyboard, and if that works better, use that for a while until Samsung hopefully updates their keyboard app again.

My phone does the same thing. It is so annoying. Ahhhh!!!
