My S8 charger wont come out

So I just got the s8 with the vr experience and I put the charger on my phone but it wont come off, its still at 16 percent i had just put the charger on is their a a lock on it? Is it just that tight? I figured it was either to tight or the charger had a release lock after the battery has become charged to an amount which would be stupid. Please Help and Thanks!

If your referring to the USB c charger it should just pull out.

Heh heh, I remember trying to pull the lead out of an older iPhone. Stuck! I thought, until I discovered that there were locks that had to be gripped first to release the connector .

unless it's pulling the charger (not the cable) off my power strip i didn't have any issue and it's been about 3 weeks now lolz that's the first time i hear something like this.
