My s9 plus call volume (On top) is very low

I've seen many people complaining about this issue, but my issue is more than that. My phone worked perfectly with dolby atmos. Now I can only hear the sound coming from the below speaker even with dolby on. Its more like I have only 1 speaker in the phone. But if I keep the phone to my ears like I'm answering a call, I can hear the music playing very low from the upper speaker. Applies same with answering calls, its very low. This issue was not there for a month since I bought this phone. So disappointment. Does anyone face the same issue? Please help.

Exactly the same problem I was faced around July time frame and got it replaced with warranty and now again facing the same issue. I think this dolby atmos amp has some issue which is making the speaker as faulty and soon after that this speaker is not even works for call. You can check this speaker volume by openning the hw test menu by entering * # 0 * # and check the speaker volume aand show this to samsung authorized service center and get it replaced if your phone is in warranty else you may need to pay lot of money as this speaker cannot be changed alone it requires display(along with touch) and battery replacement.

Clean it out. I just updated to Android 9.0 and my speaker was working fine prior to the update.. I barley could hear people on the phone it was extremely low. I thought it was something software related, but I tried every method with no fix. Searched up on how to clean an earpiece out and found a video on somebody cleaning it out with blue/white tack which I did, and it worked! Just need to get the dust/lint out of there!
