Samsung ace 2's battery went dead, but won't charge anymore
So my samsung galaxy ace 2 (GT-i8160) went completely dead after a few days of use. Now when I plug it into a charger, it vibrates very shortly, but nothing after that. No charging icon, no boot screen, no nothing.
I left it plugged in overnight, thinking it might just need a little bit of juice in the battery first before being able to boot, but still nothing.
I actually decomissioned my last phone (samsung galaxy s2) for a very similar problem, is this the end of the line for this phone as well? How the fidge is it possible that an electronic device is unable to recharge its battery after it's been run down?
