AC Question

I can get it to the first screen but then it shuts off. There's some red text in the top left corner saying "KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" and below it "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock"

How can I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Did you root the phone, or did someone else?

My friend rooted it for me, I'm not sure what he did. He just gave back my phone and it was already like that. He doesn't know how to fix it.

FRP refers to the Factory Reset Protection feature. This is usually apparent when someone does a factory reset without first removing the Google account from the phone.

Ask your friend to try reinstalling the stock ROM.

Sorry, this is beyond my scope of knowledge. Hopefully someone else can chime in!

Nice paper weight..

I learned never to mess until you have a full back up plan.
