My Samsung Galaxy s7 keeps saying try again!

[AC Question]

Why does my brand new Samsung Galaxy s7 keep saying try again and gives me an amount of time of when to try again....it's gone from seconds to 30 minutes?! Also fingerprint sensor doesn't work!?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it not recognizing your password/PIN? Is it asking for your backup password/PIN associated with the fingerprint unlock? That may be different from any other passwords or PINs you may have created for a non-fingerprint screenlock.
