My Samsung Galaxy S7 Pictures Keep Disappearing from Gallery

[AC Question]

I recently lost my Samsung Galazy S7 edge and replaced with S7 flat. I restored my Egde data which was backed up to Samsung cloud to my S7. For the second time my photos have disappeared from the gallery. The first time I did another restore of my S7 Edge data to resolve the issue. It has now happened again and I would like to fix the issue without doing a restore.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I keep my media on SD card, that way I can just pull the card and plug into pc etc if my device fails. Great when I get new device too, just plug it in and there's all my pics...
In any case, use my files to look for the lost pics, sometimes they get misplaced in other places... Look in all the unexpected places, they should be there some place. Then move them to SD card and save more headaches

I have managed to restore a stale backup and my pictures have returned. I was attempting to copy them all from my phone to an external hard drive but realised they are not saved to phone and are instead on the Samsung cloud platform. In order to save to phone I have to download each picture individually (eeeeek!!!)

Is there an app I can use to duck download? I have thousands of pictures and nowhere near the time to download Individually


HELP PLEASE!!!
