My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is loosing battery excessivly fast

I've tried almost everything that I can find. I've tried removing my sd card, factory resetting, buying a new charger, etc. But none of them seem to work. Can someone help me with this? (BTW, I started experiencing this problem when the update for Multi windowed screen came out)

How old is the tab, and how far do you usually let the battery go down before recharging it? The larger the first number and the smaller the second one, the better the chance that the battery is at the end of its life.

I have heard this issue with the Multi windowed feature, I think the problem is the same.
