My Samsung galaxywatch active cannot sync with iphone X

So i bought a samsung galaxy watch active i did step by step everything but i cannot access contacts , im able to answer a phone call but im not able to talk via the smart watch , i tried restarting repairing and etc but it didn't slove my problem . Otherwise the smartwatch is working.
Can you please give me some suggestions for fixing my problems
