Android Central Question

I just bought a samsung note 8 and I had been really happy with till I discovered a number of issues with it and started solving them one by one but there was one thing I wasn't able to fix MY screen resolution. I had seen a lot of forums and YouTube videos talking about the ability to change the screen resolution but I wasn't able to find it not by typing it on the settings search bar or even going into the display and finding it. Let's say that feature just simply vanished. I really need to change the screen resolution would there anyone who would be able to help?

Mine is under display then resolution. I was able to find it through the search. Maybe you need to do a factory reset?

Under Display in Settings? What carrier/country is your phone from?

If i tap on screen resolution (on your pic), it opens the option to change the resolution. It's in my language :)

MIne looks the same. As another poster stated, tap on the screen resolution and you should be able to change it.

Just ask Bixby to take you to screen resolution. I use Bixby for everything I cannot find. It is wonderful as he knows all. lol

Also make sure that you're not using Kids mode, a restricted account, or 'Simple Mode' on Samsung Home. Is your phone carrier-branded (to my knowledge, at least in all US carriers this option shouldn't be disabled) or rooted/modified?
