My Samsung S7 will only sync my gmail when it is charging. Can anyone help me fix this?

I will plug in my phone to charge and send an email to my gmail and it will come through right away but if I unplug the phone and send another email it will no go through.

If you have the battery/power saver activated, it won't automatically sync your emails while unplugged. You can manually sync.
