My screen does not show any notifications

[Android Central Question]

On my home screen, the pull down menu at the top pulls down but none of the icons respond when pressed. Also, there are no notifs on the top left of my home screen....nothing. Even the word vodaphone doesnt appear! My samsung health works but no steps are shown on the home screen anymore. I have a samsung galaxy s5 neo.
