My screen is dead, how can I fix this?

Screen dead

Can anyone help me please...??

I have a htc one m7 that the screen is not working with the motherboard. I have tested the screen on another motherboard and the screen works fine.

The orginal screen and motherboard was working fine. The phone was opened up for a battery replacement.

After that the phone was working fine until i tried putting the case back on .... then the screen was dead.

Can anyone help me please???

OMG it could be so many things! Most likely something got damaged in the repair process. Are you certain everything is hooked up correctly? Are you certain the motherboard on the original M7 is ok and was not damaged or shorted out during the repair? All your ribbons and cables and such are connected and undamaged?

Thank you for your reply.

The motherboard is not damaged at all. The ribbon connectors are all fine and not damaged. The screen itself is working as i have tested that.

During the repair everything was assembled back apart from the back case and it was all working well - NO ISSUES.....

All was well until i put the back case on..... clicked it in place and then started the phone. You can hear the sounds etc BUT NO activity on the screen.
The home buttons on the bottom light up etc...

Is there any diagnostic manuals out there or software that i can use to faulty find the issue??

All I'm aware of is the built in tool, which of course you won't be able to use. UNLESS you can find a way to display the screen of the phone somewhere else. Do you have that special cable that lets you output the screen to an HDMI screen? Of course then how would you do the required button pushes to enter the diagnostic menu? If HTC has a Win/Mac/Linux diagnostic program I could not find it in a search. I know Samsung does, but that does not help you.
