my screen is locked on my Moto phone and no keyboard is showing up to unlock it

[Android Central Question]

my phone has a password lock on it to open and my key board is not showing up to unlock it. i've tried turning it off and back on , holding the volume and on key at the same time and still nothing. i need help fast !!!! i use my phone for work.

Welcome to Android Central! It may be that the keyboard app was disabled for some reason. In that case, you may have to connect a USB keyboard via OTG connector to enter the password.

Try booting into safe mode to see if it still happens.
