Android Central Question

Out of the blue I put in my numeric code for my screen lock and it said wrong try again. I never changed the code. Now the phone this is happening on is an older phone. I have a new one that I wanted to transfer all my data to. And bad timing is my life but before i could do that it has locked me out. So how do i get back into my old style to get my info to transfer to my new phone

Welcome to Android Central! If it's a Samsung, try using Find My Mobile to remotely unlock it: https://findmymobile.samsung.com/. Otherwise, you're probably out of luck. Either you're not remembering the PIN correctly, or something in the system totally glitched, but either way, you can't bypass this (assuming this isn't one of those old phones that prompts you for your Google account/password if you fail the unlock enough times).
