My SD card unable to find target path

I've recently bought a new SD card with a larger space then my previous one. So it's been week and now my phone is unable to save screenshots or download what'sapp media files. I tried transferring files from internal storage to SD card but it says it's unable to find target pathway. I've tried googling this problem but it hasn't been much of a help. And I'd like to try every other option before I reboot or format my SD card or buy a new one.

In storage is the SD card visible? Does it show as "mounted"?

Welcome to Android Central! Is the card still even readable? I'd suspect the card either failed or is counterfeit.
