My tablet aquired a trojan while downloading app from Playstore.

Do many apps on Playstore have this trojan? Anti virus apps cannot get rid of it. Tried restoring to factory settings . Trojan seemed gone until downloading another app from Playstore. Trojan is back. Will upgrade to Lollypop from Kitkat get rid of trojan? After restore, tablet seems free, until any app is downloaded. The Trojan displays a screen that asks one to go to "funNwin" site. Screen pops up on every app I go to. After a while, it tries to download url's to other sites.

Re: My tablet aquired a trojan while downloading app from Playstore.

Welcome to Android Central! That's probably not a trojan--it sounds more like adware that you may keep installing, since it is probably included with some app you keep installing. Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears.
