my tablet was updating the green android was on the screen, now frozen

my device was updating, as soon as it got to 100% i havent been able to use it? all im getting is the samsung galaxy tab 3 logo and it wont go any further, when i plug the charger in theres just a grey battery logo, and not charging. have tried holding the buttons for up to 60 seconds, but nothing?

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried long pressing the power button to simulate a battery pull? That might help.

Try to go back to Recovery Mode by pressing Home+ Power+ Volume Up.
Most of the time not everyone remember which one is Volume Up or Down, if you get to the Download Mode Screen ( Home+Power+Volume Down), turn off, then press the opposite Volume Button+ Home+ Power to get to the Recovery Mode and do the Factory Reset.
For Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 inches, Volume Down is next to Power button but the Galaxy Tab 3 7 inches or 8 inches, Volume Up is next to Power button.
