My total space of my tablet is 8 GB but when I am going to use it, it is only 4.12 GB

When I am going to Storage Settings it says on total space is 8 GB but when I am going to file manager it says 4.12 GB so I can't use all of my memory of my tablet.
Can someone help me.

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? If it was advertised as an 8 GB tablet, that means it has 8 GB total internal storage, and of that, about 3.8 GB are taken up by the OS and any bloatware. So you only have about 4 GB available to you. This is standard reporting for any device, including iOS devices.
