My Tracks slash GPS issues

I use My Tracks to track my motorcycle rides. I just got the phone a couple days ago. Each ride it keeps stopping recording. I'm not sure if its because the phone is sitting with the screen off for too longs or what. This morning it started recording but stopped about a minute or two in.
Anyone else having issues or is this a simple setting I need to tweak?

Having the screen off shouldn't affect My Tracks. I used to run around the hills here with my Epic 4G and always had the screen off - My Tracks never stopped recording.
