What's with the IMG tags that don't work? Let's try a link instead.

[UPDATE2]
Finally got it. Seems pretty nice. As others have noted, the cover material could use more texture. So, how should I characterize the resolution of this thread?
  1. Good things come to those who wait?; or
  2. The squeaky wheel gets the grease?
Cheers,

[UPDATE]
I'm *sure* the timing is purely coincidental, but look what I found in my inbox this morning:

Hi Larry,

The case left our facility today, and it takes about 24-48 hours for the tracking information to start updating. I'd expect the shipping information to update by tomorrow evening.

[ORIGINAL POST]

Ah, Treegloo. Great website. Perhaps, a nice product too. But will I ever find out? [For best enjoyment, read from the bottom up].

Dear Treegloo,

What can I say? This email thread has become so epic that I'm now sharing it with friends. I myself have passed beyond rage into fascination regarding how long you'll be willing to string me along. I feel sorry for you. I really do. It must be utterly chaotic at your shop. For the record, it has now been over ELEVEN weeks since I placed this order. Did I mention that this case was originally to be a Christmas gift for my mother?

Regards,

Larry Barnett.

Epic fail on their part.

Re: My Treegloo "case" study

Let us know if you get it, I'm in the same boat, well maybe not at least you are getting reply's.

Re: My Treegloo "case" study

I had one ordered in November as a gift from my sister-in-law to me for my bday.

4 months later I've finally told them if it hasn't shipped by now cancel it.

The only good thing I could say about them was they replied to every inquiry I sent. It just so happens that not a single reply was accurate.
Every one of them said "Your order has been processed and should ship in the next 3 days" 4 months later, I'm still waiting of one of those "3 days" to be accurate.

I've made an account on here just to chime in. I'm in the same boat as jrowe. I ordered the case December 28th 2012, was supposed to ship out at the latest January 31st 2013 per their maximum 21 business day lead time, yet I'm still bugging them for status updates. Just called my credit card company today to dispute the charges, so they'll have taken the money back from Treegloo by Tuesday. If I don't hear a "it's shipped" from them within the next week I'm ordering a Potenzo. Very dissapointing... There are many threads like this on the web, I should have known prior to ordering.

I am happy with my case now that I finally gave it. The sad thing is I just bought an iPad mini for the girl. Rather than suffer thru another Treegloo order I'm going to pay twice the price for a custom Portenzo. They have killed any hope of repeat business.

Just to close the loop from my end, Treegloo never did respond. I waited three days and then put in my portenzo order. Somehow, the portenzo order shipped out only two days later. It's almost like they had it ready and waiting. Anyway, lesson learned on my part.

I find it very suspicious that this thread has so many low post number newbie posters. Just like the other thread about this company. Seems doubtful that legitimate people are signing up just to post about this company.

I see your point but a low post count doesn't mean they just signed up. The OP (1arryb) joined in October, so 4-5 months before starting this thread. And jrowe only has 11 posts but has been a member since July 2011.

On the other hand, it looks like you joined this month. :D :D

I can appreciate the skepticism, but I assure you with 100% certainty that what I said above is correct. When I get on my actual computer and not my tablet I'll gladly post the detailed email conversations to prove that I joined for the sole purpose of letting others know that they are not alone in dealing with Treegloo. I have beret things to do then to conjure up stories about a case manufacturer... Anyway, 'I'll be back'.

This is a pile on that is 100% warranted and could have been avoided by Treegloo with some thought. They deserve every bit of scrutiny coming.

Took me about a month to get mine, I loved it. I dont use it anymore though. Hence why its for sale.

I'm in the same boat too. As a matter of fact I signed up on this forum just for the purpose of adding my voice on this issue. I ordered my case in early December of last year and still have not received it. They notified me that it had shipped a month or two ago, but nothing ever came of it.

I know exactly what you mean about passing beyond rage and into fascination because this is exactly how I feel. I guess I'll keep on waiting even though I probably shouldn't since it's bad for them to learn that they can do this to customers. It's just that I'm really curious to see how long they can take with my order.

Well, as closeout for me, I ordered a Portenzo case on March 20th, it shipped on March 22nd, and I just received it today. (I'm in Canada). Anyway, damn sweet case, very pleased! Also, after I had the money refunded by my credit card company, I never heard back from Treegloo and the case never arrived. Anyway, lesson learned.

Again I ordered Dec 27.....
Got this Mar 24,

I'm so sorry for the delays in production and shipping. Although both production facilities are running at full peak, we are further behind our schedule than expected due to demand.

We are currently integrating our new internal shipping schedule with the upcoming online order status system. As of today, your case is expected to ship by the end of this week.

Thank you very much for your patience!

Nothing has happened, but I didn't expect to.
Just another excuse...maybe someday I'll get it.

just wanted to add my two cents,
i've been dealing with them since December 27th.
i got a nexus 7 for christmas, and thought it would be awesome to deck it out with a sweet case.
never have i been so disappointed and angry with a company.
at least you're still getting replies, and got your case, they do not reply at all to me anymore, after telling me (on the 3rd) that my case would ship that friday.
i'm assuming they don't reply anymore, and have just ate up my money because i sent them a bunch of rather filthy, profanity laced emails about how terrible of a company they were.
i have gone out of my way to spread the bad news of this company to everyone i know.

did anyone else get the sob story about them losing a "valuable" member? yeah...i believe that.

((^%(& you treegloo. ^(&(!@ you forever.

I saw this forum and just had to join so I could comment. Wow. I'm starting to think these "cases" are just imaginary. I ordered my Google Nexus 7 Case back in JANUARY. It's now July. I'm hearing complaints from people who ordered months after me receiving their cases 'after waiting forever'. I've been emailing them back and forth month after month (being extremely polite may I add) and I've been told almost every time that "They'll see what they can do about getting mine in with the next shipment". They're acting as if they're doing me a favor now trying to get me my case after waiting over 6 months. I feel like this is all one big scam and the only people who have positive reviews of the company just work for them. I've even tried posting on their Facebook but that's extremely sketchy as well and you can tell many comments on posts have been deleted since there are only positive ones. People saying things like "I waited two months but it was well worth the wait! Don't give up!" Obviously just fake testimonials. I finally gave up hope and emailed them asking for a refund so wish me luck!
