First off, I just want to point out that if the site/forum stayed exactly the way it is now, I'd still be more than happy. Everything here is great
. But that being said, I do have two suggestions:
1. An Android OS section where the subforums are for each version (1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.1, etc.) where the discussions are focused around features/issues/opinions/etc regarding the OS specifically. Right now, our options are specific phone discussion, or more generic discussion like the app forum or general chat. For example, it would have been great to have a dedicated Froyo section so that when it was announced, we could have all talked about the new features and improvements without having to sift through other unrelated topics.
2. A rework of the mobile forum site to make it more Android friendly. Right now, it is using such a vague text-based version that is not very "finger friendly". Let's show our support for our touch-based devices! I am, however, aware that a lack of themes like that for vBulletin probably put a damper on that one. But maybe have a cleaner/sleeker look for it similar to the CrackBerry mobile forum design?
Just throwing in my $0.02
