my UMX phone screen is going white with lines after the screen times out

[Android Central Question]

I just got a UMX U504TL phone and it keeps having the screen go white with lines after the screen times out I have no idea why honestly don't have that many apps I have facebook and youtube nothing else if I plug it in to charge it it also does it I have had the phone for two days and I have done a factory reset on it twice and it still happens

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with belodion, sounds like a hardware issue. Make sure your important data is backed up or synced somewhere safe NOW if you haven't already, since the screen could potentially fail completely without warning. Then either bring the phone to a repair shop, or contact the manufacturer if it's still under warranty.
