My videos disappeared, how can I get them back?

Videos dissappeared

So i was going to move my videos of my child from the galaxy s3 phone memory to the sd card.

I conn. Usb as 'ccamera' and did not see that the folder appeared empty. I cut and pasted it to the sd card and Voila all my movies were gone!!!

I have tried to use various recovery programs but they only find deleted videos.


Please help if you can. This is videos of my son As a baby.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify, please? Which folder appeared empty? What exactly did you cut and paste to the SD card?

In general, it's much safer to copy the files over to your computer's hard drive via USB, so that you have a safe backup. Then you can copy the files to the SD card if you'd like.
