My 3-year old Samsung Note 3 on stock ROM works perfectly with one exception.
When I turn it to speakerphone the other party starts to get random short fade-outs of my voice to the level that they ask me to repeat the question.
The noice cancellation function is turned off.
The problem does not exist while on external headset or while speaking normally (not using the speakerphone), so I assume it's not a mic problem.
