my voice to text repeats and alters my statements

[AC Question]

Starting today, when I use voice to text in messages not only does it repeat my statements, but then it changes my statements so I end up with a nonsensical paragraph that I have to delete. I have read through several threads about this problem, but still can't find the solution. I changed from Google input to Samsung input, but the problem still occurs.
