my vpn cannot be turned off(there is no off)

I was trying to use cast to tv and when i try to connect to the tv it never finds the tv and then it tells me to turn off my vpn on my phone. I went through the settings and got to the vpn and adv vpn, there is no gear icon or blue toggle button to turn it off. My wives phone is the exact same phone and she can use the cast just fine. her phone also has the exact same settings under the vpn settings. Any help would be AWESOME, we are trying to set up to do distant learning for our students using our phones.

Which phone you have ? Should be in settings>connection more connection

The galaxy s7when i open the more connections it has basic vpn and adv vpn, the pic is of when i open the basic vpn, there is nothing there to turn off.

From your screenshot doesn't look like you have a VPN
