My wife broke my tablet should I get a Nexus 7?

My wife dropped my Galaxy Tab 10.1 on the floor last night and it no longer works :'(. I've been looking at the Nexus 7 for a while now but wondering if the smaller screen will be better than a 10" screen. Also wondering if maybe I should wait a few weeks to see what the holiday batch of tablets will be.

Thoughts?

With the Ipad mini coming out they could reduce the price of the N7 and it looks like the 16GB storage will be released as the lower price. BTW check out this article.

Curious how do you use the Nexus differently than iPad? I don't find the iPad that useful over my EVO LTE, so what would the Nexus do for ke instead? I find that what I don't like about the iPad is that things are either much easier and faster to do on my phone, or they require my laptop.

I don't necessarily use it differently, it is easier to use than the IPad. I am also bored with IOS on the iPad. I always discover something new with my Nexus 7. I can even text from my N7 via my phone. I just love the functionality of android vs. IOS when it comes to using a tablet.

Too funny. I was about to ask "what's a book?", but I remembered... I haven't held a book in ages.

Years of eBook readers, PDAs and smartphones have made "analog" reading devices (aka books) foreign to me, lol.
