MyTouch 3G camera issues

Hello all,

I am brand new to this forum and just learning the ropes here. I recently bought a used MyTouch 3G. I was told that it has been rooted as well as unlocked.
When I check out the information in Settings I get the following:

Android Version: 2.2
Baseband Version: 62.505.20.17H_2.22.19.26I
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.4-superF
root@bcds1 #1
Build number: FR91

My question for right now is about the camera. When I select the camera Icon, I end up getting what I think is a test pattern (possibly camera emulator?). It looks like this:

Any thoughts on whether my camera issue can be resolved?

I'm not sure how to fix it, but back when I was rooted, it was a pretty common problem for the camera because that rom version wasn't released yet. You could try flashing another rom with the newer drives from the official 2.2.
