Ordered the Nexus 4 whenever they started selling it, received it the Friday before Thanksgiving. Everything had been fine, but I started noticing some image retention yesterday. I mainly use the phone for app development, so the phone is on a lot, and I assumed it was a combination of the heat plus static picture. A few minutes ago, however, I accidentally left Instagram open for about 5 minutes, and now I can see traces of the image and some text. Most of the retention is near the edges of the phone. The device is cool to the touch. Screen brightness is less than 50%. The artifacts do dissipate if I open up a game and play that for a few minutes, so at least it isn't permanent, but it's annoying.
