N4 On MetroPCS ?

Now that the T-Mobile / MetroPCS merger is done.......

Can the N4 be made to work on MetroPCS ?

Its my understanding that MetroPCS is CDMA. The Nexus 4 is a GSM device. So nope.

TMO acquired MetroPCS partly because the latter uses the same band for LTE that TMO does. But I don't know if the N4 will work on MetroPCS. I'm sure someone has tried.

For now, no, because MetroPCS is still CDMA, but I think T-Mobile is working on converting Metro's towers to GSM.

MetroPCS is still CDMA

MetroPCS still has a lot of CDMA, but it's also had LTE in markets such as Las Vegas since September 2010. It also was (still is?) the first U.S. operator to offer voice over LTE (VoLTE).
