I've unfortunately have been one to received a n7 with a lifted screen. I did try to tough through the imperfection until a friend informed me that it's a defect rather imperfection. I googled it an there it is, a massive collection of people with the same problem. I called the first time and was informed I would receive an RMA to send my defective n7 back for a replacement. All was still within the return period. A week later I got no RMA, not through email or snail mail. So I called back and got another rep informing me the information was locked so she can't explain what had happened. She did however get the ball rolling and I sent my original back. I placed the other for a new one with the "The Total (AUTH) indicates the amount that has been authorized. This means that a portion of your card?s credit limit is held for several days but no charge is made." Ship time was said to be less than a week and of course its been longer. I did contact them about a refund instead of a replacement seeing that this is becoming a lengthy process. No response. Has anyone tried to go through their credit card company about a chargeback or dispute this? If so any results in that end?
