So I got my N7 dock (ordered on Sunday, arrived Weds).
Overall, it feels nice. Weighted enough so it is stable with the N7 in it. pogo pins mate up easily. Charges the N7 just fine assuming you have a decent charger plugged in. Pretty well made.
The N7 drops into daydream mode when you put it in the dock. Not exactly what I want. I understand you can change this but haven't looked into it.
One surprise (well, to me anyway) is that you have to plug in the USB charger in order to be able to play audio thought the 3.5mm connector. While it's not a big deal, I can see usage cases where you might not want to bother with a charger. I thought the dock just acted as a pass-through for the audio and usb connectors via the pogo pins but apparently not.
