From what I can see on the XDA developers site, the Verizon Note 5 can't be rooted.

Yup Verizon Note 5 is not able to get rooted (like many other phones on Verizon) you can thank them for that..

Its not impossible its just to much work for a person to do. And pretty much overduing the whole process. From now on I suggest international models or T-Mobile they have great dev support.
