Nandroid after flashing a ROM?

Is it recommended to create a new Nandroid backup after flashing a ROM and setting up the phone again?

Yes, I think its a wise move, and I do only if I know I like the ROM. It is security if for some reason you flash a different Rom and decide you don't like that one then using the Nandroid you can quickly revert to a ROM and setup you do like.
