Nandroid backup issues

So I just rooted using the instructions from XDA and it worked great. I have one problem/question though. When I try to do a nandroid backup, it allows you to check different things (system, data, cache, recovery, wimax, sd-ext, .android_secure). I read that you should select all of them. However, I always get an error message that says "Oops... something went wrong! Please check the recovery log!" Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Where is the recovery log?

When I just left the defaults (system, data, cache) it worked, but as I understand it, that isn't a full backup.

are you using RA Amon? and if so did you manually rename the backup folder?

my bad read your post wrong, thought you were trying to restore a backup. im not sure then cause it gave me the same error message when I was trying to restore.

Anyone else know the ins and outs of Nandroid backup on the EVO?
