Nandroid Backup - Move folders?

Just wondering before I mess something up. Is it safe to move my Nandroid backups to my computer to make room on my sd card? I plan on deleting some off my SD card all together but keep them on my computer until i need them again. If i do need them, just move them back to the clockwork mod folder on my SD card and restore. I plan on copying the whole clockwork folder as is. Would this mess anything up??

My sd card is just filling up with all my backup/wipes as I hunt for the perfect rom/theme/version.

Yes, it's quite safe.

It's up to you...do you need a stack of nandroid backups? I moved six to my computer for 4 gig...then realized that I didn't need backups for roms I no longer had installed on my phone.
