Native camera aspect ratio?

I'm wondering if the native (non-cropped) aspect ratio of the main/rear camera is 16:9 or 4:3. My previous phone was a LG G4 with a native 16:9 wide camera and I loved it. I love wide photography. My current Galaxy S7 has a 12mp 4:3 camera, so when cropped to 16:9 it's just a measly 9mp. I'm hoping the galaxy s8 takes native wide pictures.

The S8 is the same...16:9 = 9MP. I'm coming from an S6 and was surprised to see they'd moved back to 4:3 when I was playing with a demo phone. Never realized they'd done that with the S7.
