How many navigation buttons can you put at the bottom? I know on the v20 you can put five I usually use it to capture screen and drop down notification panel. Can you add 5 on the V 30?

Looks like the V30 has a standard built-in screen capture - Power +Volume down.
All phones have that. How many phones let you do it with one finger? LG had the only devices that I know of that does that. That's part of the reason I can't let them go. One finger screenshot and bring the notification panel down with the press of a button. I don't see why Samsung hasn't copied that yet.

There are some 3rd party apps that allow you to do things like swipe on the home button to pull down the notifications shade. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I was doing some searching because I currently use an older HTC that also allows custom navigation buttons. And I cannot imagine giving up the 4th button for notifications.

Samsung has the Edge Panel add on thing which has a screenshot button. They can also use the fingerprint sensor to access the notification panel. And there is also an Edge Panel for notifications IIRC.

They all have shortcuts, just different implementations. I would have liked Samsung's fingerprint swipe better if the fingerprint sensor wasn't awkwardly placed. As it is, the nav bar button is currently more convenient.

That's fine I guess. None of it sounds easier than just pressing a button at the bottom of the screen. No swiping, no searching, no reaching... Its just as simple as hitting the home button.
