Navigation Issues

I can't seem to figure out why it is so difficult to get to Navigation from the google maps apps. It goes to directions but not navigation.
I find myself looking up an address, going to that address on google maps and instead of just being able to get navigation to that address from google maps I have to copy and paste the address into the actual navigation app.

Is that the only way now? :-\

Also, what happened to street view?

When I tap on a location or address in Google maps I'm given the choice of getting directions from my current location, looking at a street view, or Navigation. If I choose Navigation I'm in my familiar Automobile GPS. Works just the way it should here.

Be sure to actually tap on the address itself rather than a long hold and copy.

After you find the location in the Maps app, just tap on the "directions" icon.

From there, tap on "Navigation"
