Navigation voice

So I did a search but didn't find anything on this, but is there a way to get a different voice that speaks the directions in the navigation app? The robotic one that talks now just doesn't do it for me.

LOL. My kids even complain about the voice! I haven't found any way to change the voice.

Yeah...it's a pretty lame electronic voice. Google needs to hire someone like Donna Dixon to directional recordings. I think they've got enough money to make it happen.

It's a text-to-speech application, not a pre-recorded voice. That's why is sounds like Mrs. Stephen Hawking. You can't change it.
