NC CM7.0.0 sd card questions

I am successfully using a Class 2 8 Gig micro sd card with the CM7 7.0.0 build for my NC. I have left the internal memory with the NC 1.1 boot so I have the best of both worlds!

Here are my questions:

1. Is there a dual boot file/method specifically designed for CM7.0.0 (there is for 2.2)? I currently have to remove my micro sd if I want to boot to NC 1.1 for any reason (like reading in the store).

2. I have ordered a Class 6 8 Gig micro sd card and want to copy over the setup from my currect card. Can that be done or will I have to redo the entire process for the new card? I want to retain my current apps and not have to reload them.

3. My CM sd card now reads as less than 1Gig! Can this be repartioned without losing my boot files so that I can regain access to the other 7 Gigs?

BTW, even with the Class 2 card, CM7 appears to be running just fine and with no "visual" lags.

I did set the min and max CPU speeds to 600/925.

Thank you.

1. Here is the dual-boot I use: [ADV] Boot menu for the Nook Color [2011-03-19] - xda-developers. That post also has a link to a different method.

2. You can do that (I use DD on a Mac to do a backup/restore, but I'm pretty sure it can be done on Windows as well).

3. If you copy your current image to your 8 GB card, it will be a 2 GB partition. You will then need to use a partition manager to expand that partition to use the entire card. I used Easeus on a Windows computer to do this.

I d/l and unzipped j4mm3r... and got many folders and some files but I cannot find either multi u-boot.bin or u-boot.bin (replacements)!

What am I missing???

Thanks.

The link to the file is at the bottom of the posting I referenced. That file name is u-boot_v0.4.bin.zip and when unzipped, you get u-boot.bin. Replace the u-boot.bin on your SD card with that one. Boot the Nook and follow the screen directions.

Found the actual file at:

[Project] Dual-Boot between NF SDcard and Stock No-Rooting - xda-developers

and it works like a charm!

Power button alone will boot to sd card with CM7 and power button plus "home" button will boot to stock 1.1 on internal memory.

Also installed the o/c image and running with no indicated problems at 1.1 Mhz!

Previously had set the speed up to 925Mhz via CM7.

This $250.00 tablet (now "full blown") simply amazes me!!

Now I can safely update to 2.2 stock whenever it "finally" comes out without disrupting the CM7 on the sd card. Already looking ahead to an "autonooter" for the new 2.2.

Thanks for your help.
