I recently update to NE9 using RickRom and it is worth the update. The new firmware is so smooth. I am rooted and using safe strap and it was really easy to update using safe strap. I have Galaxy Gear and Samsung Homes Sync and it has helped to make connections seamless. At first I didn't know if update was worth the hassle. After using hsbdr method over at XDA it was really easy. I had uses Rick's Rom before on my wife's Note 3. He stopped doing Note 3 roms and started doing S5's. I really recommend this rom and recommend updating to latest firmware. I am really impressed with how smooth phone operates.
