Nearly perfect pixel 3

I have 2 noncritical problems.
1. No shutter sound
2. Won't work with a camera twist to switch to a selfie. Two hours of Pixel support resulting in a suggestion to do a factory reset. I don't want to do this. Any other ideas?

Camera twist works fine on my pixel 3 xl. If it's not working for you then I recommend getting a replacement.

I'm sure CS cover this, but have you checked that the camera twist gesture of toggled on in settings and that camera shutter sounds are on in the camera settings?

On another note both twist to switch to the selfie camera and sound works for me I just tested both.

Just tested and both are working on my Pixel 3.

I was hoping to avoid replacing or factory reset. Pixel support worked on the problem for 2 hours and that's they recommend. IL wait for the next update and maybe I'll get lucky and it will fix it. Thanks for all your help.
