Need a CD based car mount

I ordered an arkon sm517 mount last week via amazon and I don't like it at all. Feels cheap and there is simply no room to fit it on my window, nor does it stick to my dashboard. I really need a CD car Mont like the mountek one but it doesn't work with the N7 it seems. The closest is the pro clip/brodit ones but they are very expensive. Any one using a CD Mount with their nexus?

If the only problem with the dashboard is that it won't stick, just get a separate beanbag dash mount or something--I feel like that would be the easiest/most cost-effective thing to do.

You could try something like the Breffo spider mount, or some air duct mount? If I were you, I'd look up YouTube videos for like, 'diy tablet car mount'. There are a surprising amount of diy mods, though most look a little MacGyver.
