I'm just getting around to converting some older CDs to mp3 and a few of them are some old DJ mix albums like Funk Master Flex, Magic Mike, etc. Anyway, the songs are broken down into tracks, but when listening to the CD it's basically just 1 endless track with no noticeable gap between tracks.

So I ripped them onto my Mac and can listen to them just fine through iTunes, but when I move them to my phone there is a definite and noticeable gap between tracks.

I've tried using the stock music player, poweramp, and phonograph. Same results with all 3. I really don't want to download a million music players to find the right one. Any suggestions?

re:

PowerAmp has "Various Crossfade/Fade/Gapless options" - have you tried adjusting them?

Settings -> Audio -> Crossfade and Fade

The default music player has skip silences. which should work for.what you want.

Skip silences
Skip silences between tracks to reduce pauses during playback.
