Has anyone used "beautiful widgets", or "fancy widgets"? I've heard that both have great weather animations, but i need to know if the digital clocks w/weather, are able to be made transparent. My home screen has the planet app(live), and i need a transparent, digital clock w/weather, to go directly above the rotating Death Star. Please give yourself to the Dark Side, and reply to this thread. Thanks.

I own both apps, but I admit it's been at least 6 months since I've used either one. Both have good customer service - email the devs to make sure they do what you want.

I preferred the Fancy Widgets clock; I seem to remember having a transparency slider that affected the clock's background at the very least.

There's options in the settings part of B.W. that allows for what you're seeking. Don't know about F.W. though.

Installed Fancy Widgets.
Transparency of background is available. You can even turn the background off.

Thanks guys for the quick replies. Both are the same price, but i've read that the windshield wiper on BW, doesn't work as well as the one on FW. I'll give FW a try. It's too bad that the stock HTC clock widgets, can't be made transparent. Thanks again for your help.
