Need help buying a moto x

I wanna buy a used moto x on Craigslist, eBay or Swappa.

I wanna use it on T-Mobile. Problem is I can't figure out which model has full compatibility with tmo.

Will any "unlocked" moto x do the trick? Or, do I need to look for a specific model number?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The unlocked Moto X or AT&T version should be fine. Both have GSM radios

LTE, yes. VoLTE, I'm honestly not sure. Let me see if someone else can answer that for you.

Moto X XT1053 is the T-Mobile/Unlocked version. AT&T version is the XT1058 and if you get it unlocked it will get LTE.
